The Local Beaches

As mentioned the Acuario B&B is in Torregrande which is one of the most popular location in the Oristano area. The village offers a wide range of bars, restaurants and sport centres. You won't definitely find any trouble in having a good time!

Torregrande offers a wide range of facilities such as souvenir shops, newsagents, supermarkets and has been awarded as a Blue and Green Flag which means that the water of the sea and the nearby forest and vegetation is very healthy and not polluted at all.

San Giovanni is another famous and beautiful seaside location only 10 minutes drive from Torregrande. The place is famous for the phoenician ruins which are opened to the public and highly recommended.

Oasi Di Seu or Funtana Meiga is a beautiful beach with more than 300 different species of flora. It is the perfect place if you love the nature and want to switch off from the city life.

Maimoni:

is with Is Aruttas one of the most known and loved beaches in the area. The quartz sand makes it famous in the whole country  as gives the sand the colours of a pearl white and rose. It is forbidden to take the sand home and fines are high if you have been found with it.

Is Aruttas:

Like Maimoni, Is Aruttas is a famous beach for its quartz sand but also as a surf destination. The sea is quite deep with different shades of green and blue.

Mari Ermi:

Is a very popular beach as it is very similar and also connected to Is Aruttas. Te sand is always a quartz sand and it is perfect if you want to have a great and golden tan.

Putzu Idu:

A very fine sandy beach perfect for kids as the water is very shadow. From it you would be able to easily reach other two lovely beaches, Mandriola and S'Arena Scoada.

S'Archittu:

this beach is named after the very famous natural arch which is 15metres high and really particular for its shape and density.
S'Archittu is definitely an area that you would love s it is one of the most characteristic places in the west coast.

Sa Mesa Longa:

This beach is a bit different from the previous ones as its sand is a bit ticker and "yellow-redish" compared to the previous ones.This beach reminds a swimming pool as it is like surrounded by rocks that make it particular and loved by everyone.

The Isle Of Mal di Ventre:

This is a very small and beautiful little island in front of Putzu Idu.
The amazing colours of the sea and the great and wide range of flora and fauna made this great island interesting from various point of view.
